Care Instructions Keep dry and protected from moisture, dust, oil, and corrosion. Store unused wire in its original packaging or a sealed plastic bag. Do not use if wet, rusted, or damaged. Rotate stock to use older spools first.

Copper Bridge ER70S-6 is a copper-coated solid MIG wire for mild steel, built for smooth feeding and strong welds. With higher manganese and silicon deoxidizers, it helps produce clean, low-porosity welds even when steel isn’t perfectly clean. Use it with CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mix gas for automotive work, fabrication, repairs, and shop welding. Great value vs big-box wire without sacrificing performance.

Ran a full spool of this .030 ER70S-6 on a few different jobs—mostly mild steel with some mill scale and less-than-perfect prep. Wire fed consistently the whole time, no birdnesting or hiccups.

Arc is smooth and easy to control, especially on thinner material. Puddle wets out nicely and lays down a clean bead without having to fight it. Spatter is there but manageable—nothing out of the ordinary for this type of wire.

What I like is it’s predictable. Once you dial it in, it just runs. For the price, it holds up well compared to other wires I’ve used.

Orders were processed quickly too, no delays. I’ll be running this again.
