| Care Instructions | Keep dry and protected from moisture, dust, oil, and corrosion. Store unused rods in their original packaging or a sealed container. Do not use if bent, rusted, or damaged. Rotate stock to use older rods first. |
These ER4043 aluminum TIG rods have the same 5 % silicon alloy composition as our 1/16 in version but come in a thicker 3/32 in (2.4 mm) diameter for welding heavier sections and castings. They offer excellent weld puddle control, reduced hot cracking and bright, attractive bead appearance. Use them on AC with pure argon shielding gas to weld automotive parts, trailers, marine structures and general aluminum fabrications.
